Support Group

A solid support system can be monumental to the recovery process and remaining sober after detoxing. Whether you are looking for more information about Alcohol Use Disorder or are ready to start a sober life, we have groups that can provide this extra support.

You Don't have to do it alone

Our WeRiseSober Support Groups are a safe, welcoming space where individuals come together to share their experiences, challenges, and victories on the journey to sobriety. Whether you're in early recovery, managing long-term sobriety, or exploring a change in your relationship with alcohol, these groups offer connection, accountability, and hope.

What to Expect

Our support groups are peer-led and professionally facilitated to ensure a respectful, non-judgemental environment. They are open to all—regardless of your background, beliefs, or stage in recovery. Sessions focus on real-life challenges and practical strategies for staying sober, with time for open discussion, personal sharing, and group encouragement.

You can expect:

  • A confidential and supportive setting

  • Weekly or biweekly group meetings (in-person and online options)

  • Topics covering cravings, coping tools, mindset shifts, relationships, relapse prevention, and more

  • A focus on community, growth, and mutual encouragement

Why Join a Support Group?

Recovery can feel isolating—but it doesn’t have to be. Support groups provide:

  • Connection with others who understand what you're going through

  • Motivation through shared goals and progress

  • Insight from different perspectives and lived experiences

  • Consistency and structure during a time of change

Our Approach

We blend empathy with evidence-based guidance, creating a space where individuals are empowered—not shamed. Our groups are rooted in honesty, mutual respect, and the belief that recovery looks different for everyone—and that’s okay.
